Description
About FiveM Stream Doctor
FiveM Stream Doctor is a Windows utility designed to help FiveM server owners diagnose and treat common resource-streaming problems before they turn into missing models, broken textures, long loading times, or client instability.
The scanner reads the actual declared streaming-memory usage of supported GTA V assets instead of relying only on the compressed file size shown in Windows Explorer. It identifies oversized assets, ranks them by severity, correlates supported console warnings, and generates detailed HTML, CSV, and JSON reports.
For supported standalone YTD texture dictionaries, Stream Doctor can resize oversized textures, optimize inefficient formats, rebuild mipmaps, and progressively reduce streaming-memory usage. Every candidate is rebuilt, reopened, verified, and compared before the original file is replaced. Visual guards help detect unwanted changes to color, brightness, saturation, hue, and alpha transparency.
The Archetype Safety module scans server resources for duplicate archetype names and hashes. Exact duplicates within the same resource can be repaired conservatively, while cross-resource conflicts require the user to choose which resource’s definition should be kept. Duplicates can also be intentionally ignored and left untouched.
Every repair session includes original-file backups, reports, recovery information, and persistent repair history. Previously repaired archetypes can be restored or assigned a different keeper later, provided the original backup session remains available.
FiveM Stream Doctor does not blindly rewrite every asset it finds. Unsupported or high-risk files are diagnosed and reported instead of being modified without a reliable verification path.

- Generates before-and-after previews for accepted texture changes
- Detects duplicate archetypes inside and across server resources
- Allows keeper selection for cross-resource archetype conflicts
- Supports Ignore decisions for duplicates that should remain untouched
- Can conservatively repair verified byte-equivalent duplicates within the same resource
- Includes persistent Archetype Repair History
- Allows previously repaired archetypes to be restored or assigned a different keeper
- Creates verified original-file backups before Apply mode changes anything
- Supports custom backup and report locations, including external or network drives
- Includes interrupted-session recovery after a crash, forced shutdown, or power loss
- Automatically opens completed HTML reports
- Highlights successful repairs in green and failed repairs in red

Requirements
What You Need
- Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit
- Administrator permission for installation
- Access to the FiveM server resource files
- A writable location for backups, reports, previews, and recovery data
- Internet access during the first engine build to retrieve required development dependencies
- Adequate free disk space for temporary files and untouched original backups
- FXServer should be stopped before applying texture or archetype repairs
- In-game testing is strongly recommended after modifying any resource
- The automatic texture optimizer currently supports standalone YTD texture dictionaries. Other asset types are scanned and reported but are not blindly rewritten.
- The optional CitizenFX client log must come from a player’s PC that joined the server and reproduced the F8 warnings. It is normally located at:
- C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\FiveM\FiveM.app\logs
- A client log is optional supporting evidence. The server resource scan remains the primary detection method.
