Description

About FiveM Performance Advisor

Running a FiveM server can be rewarding, but it can also make you question every life decision that led you to staring at a server console at 2:00 AM.

FiveM Performance Advisor by RF Gaming is a free diagnostic and planning tool designed to make that process easier.

The Advisor can evaluate a physical server, virtual machine, VPS, or cloud-based host that is either planned for FiveM or already running an existing FiveM server. It reviews hardware performance, virtualization details, storage, memory, CPU suitability, resource workload, streamed assets, and server configuration.

For existing servers, FiveM Performance Advisor can scan your resource folder and review server.cfg, including resources started individually or through bracket folders such as [dependencies], [mlo], [vehicles], and [standalone].

The tool supports QBCore, QBox, ESX, standalone servers, and mixed or custom setups. It provides conservative capacity estimates instead of pretending there is one magical player number that works for every server.

Reports can be saved as HTML, PDF, text, or JSON, and previous scans can be compared after hardware upgrades, configuration changes, resource cleanup, or optimization work.

FiveM performance depends on much more than hardware alone. Script quality, database performance, player activity, streamed assets, resource design, and server configuration all affect real-world results.

For deeper inspection and optimization of streamed assets, pair it with FiveM Stream Doctor by RF Gaming.

Important Notice

FiveM Performance Advisor is an advisory and diagnostic tool. Its recommendations and capacity estimates are not guarantees.

Actual server performance can be affected by scripts, player behavior, database usage, streamed assets, network conditions, hosting-provider limitations, background workloads, FiveM updates, and many other factors.

Always review recommendations carefully and back up your server files, database, and configuration before making major changes.

Requirements

What You Need

  • Windows 10 or Windows 11
  • 64-bit operating system
  • Administrator permission during installation
  • Approximately 250 MB of available disk space
  • A physical server, VM, VPS, or cloud host intended to run FiveM
  • FiveM does not need to be installed when using Planned Server mode
  • An accessible FiveM server folder is required for resource and server.cfg scanning
  • Internet access is not required for normal local scans
  • FXServer should be stopped before running a Standard or Full Offline Baseline Scan for the most accurate results
  • Live-State Scans can be run while FXServer is active, but results will reflect the current workload rather than the machine’s full available capacity
