EMS and fire SOP
Standard operating procedures for EMS and fire units in RFG RP. Replace the placeholder content below with your final guidelines.
Professional conduct
Use this section for behavior expectations of EMTs, paramedics, and fire personnel.
- Personnel should stay calm, clear, and focused when working patients and scenes.
- Radio and on scene communication should remain respectful and purposeful.
- Conflicts with other players should be handled through staff, not in character escalation.
On duty requirements
Define what is required of a unit while marked in service.
- Clarify how EMS and fire clock in and out of duty.
- Note minimum gear or vehicle requirements before taking calls.
- Explain expectations for staying available between calls.
Scene arrival
Outline how units should safely approach scenes that may still be active.
- Describe when units should stage away from the scene until cleared by law enforcement.
- Explain what to do when shots are still being fired or suspects are at large.

Scene control and communication
Use this area for how EMS and fire coordinate with each other and LEO on scene.
- Define who leads patient triage and treatment decisions.
- Explain how to communicate patient status updates on the radio.
Basic treatment flow
Use this section to give a simple framework for EMS roleplay, even for players with no medical background.

- Describe how to emote stabilizing, bandaging, or using equipment.
- Explain when a patient should be transported versus treated on scene.
You can keep detailed medical steps light and focus more on consistent roleplay and pacing.

- Describe how to hand off a patient to hospital staff via emotes or simple dialogue.
- Explain how long patients typically stay down or in recovery, unless staff decides otherwise.

- Clarify how you want fire calls staged and handled.
- Note any limitations or creative leeway for fires if actual fire scripts are limited.

Outline how to handle trapped patients, rollovers, and complex wrecks.
- Describe basic steps such as stabilizing the vehicle and accessing the patient.
- Explain how to emote using tools when in game mechanics do not fully support it.

- Define when scenes are considered finished and EMS can clear.
Refusal of treatment
Document how you want refusals handled for roleplay realism and server flow.
- Explain whether players may refuse treatment, and any limits on that.
- Describe how to document refusals in notes or Discord if you track them.
